New Hunter looking to scout

This will be my first year scouting (eastside) and plan on pulling the trigger next year or at least have the license too.  I'm not against teaming up to stumble through the woods learning from each others ignorance if any other noobs are up for it

Invest in maps of the area you are interested in and get in the woods. Good luck. Lots of information if you just use the search.

Hi Billy, I am looking to get out and do some Scouting also as a complete newbie. I have my license and tag ready to go so I'd really like to have a good idea of where some game is around here as Oct. approaches. What area are you looking to explore?

I'm out in Spokane so if you're on the wet side the commute might be a bit rough.  I am really relieved to see so many new hunters coming into the sport later in life like me. I'll be headed to LPO refuge and Colville NF later this month.  Hunters Ed October 1st so hopefully I can get a hunt in this year.  I look forward to hearing about how all the newbies first year goes.
